Women Golfer's bring home third in own Invitational

PUEBLO WEST, Colo. - (GoThunderWolves.com-March 25, 2012) - The CSU-Pueblo Women's Golf team wasn't the nicest of hosts this past weekend at the ThunderWolf Invitational being held on the Desert Hawk Golf Course in Pueblo West, Colo.  The Pack took advantage of the home course, finishing third in the field of eight and placing two individuals in the Top ten.

While Montana State-Billings (643) and Colorado Mesa (644) battled for the top spot, the ThunderWolves (658) worked their way into third, 15 strokes back, and held off the rest of the field in the final round.

Domi DiNallo (So., Elephant Butte, N.M.) made her move on the second day when she posted her best round of the spring, a 76, on this par 72 course.  Her play moved her into sole possession of fourth place with a stroke total of 158.

Joining DiNallo in the Top 10 was Julie Sanchez (Fr., Pueblo, Colo.).  Sanchez's round of 76 on Saturday, also her personal best this spring, and then paired with her solid play in round two had her finishing in sixth place overall at 160.

Both Trisha Vinci (So., Rye, Colo.) and Michaela Breit (So., Greeley, Colo.) added to the overall success of the Pack, finishing tied for 17 with a two round total of 170.

The ThunderWolves head to the Regis Invitational on the Fox Hollow Golf Course located in Denver, Colo., starting Monday April 2, 2012.  Tee times set for 8 a.m.
