Dillon nets Coach of the Year honors

Pack coach earns honor for second straight season.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - April 18, 2012) - CSU-Pueblo women's golf coach Greg Dillon has been named the RMAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year for the second straight season, headlining the Pack's postseason RMAC award-winners.

Dillon led the ThunderWolves to its first ever RMAC Championship Tuesday, coming just seven years into the program's existence.  In the final round of the RMAC Championship, the ThunderWolves turned in its best individual round team score in school history at 318 while sophomore Domi Dinallo (So., Elephant Butte, N.M.) also secured hardware by winning the RMAC Individual Championship.

Dinallo was also the Pack's lone first-team All-RMAC selection, one of three ThunderWolves earning All-RMAC honors.

Michaela Breit (So., Greeley, Colo.) earned third-team honors, as did freshman Julie Sanchez (Fr., Pueblo, Colo.).

The RMAC Women's Golf all-conference teams are comprised of the top 15 individuals based on their three (3) best scores of the four mandatory events. The golfer with best score in those events is the Golfer of the Year, likewise the top Freshman is the Freshman of the Year. The Coach of the Year is voted on by each of the nine head coaches.
