Porman leads Pack at Mustang Intercollegiate


GOODYEAR, Ariz. (April 10, 2017) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's golf team completed round one of the 2017 Western New Mexico University Mustang Intercollegiate Monday at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Arizona.

The ThunderWolves are 14th of 19 teams with a 29-over 317. The Pack are nine shots out of the top 10, while two Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference schools are in 12th and 13th. Regis University shot a 311 (+23), while Colorado Mesa University carded a 316 (+28).

Senior Jacquelyn Porman (Gilbert, Ariz.) leads the ThunderWolves with a three-over 75 to rank tied for 23rd.

Next for the Pack are sophomores Courtney Ewing (Pueblo West, Colo.) and Jolene Kam (Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia). Both shot an eight-over 80 to rank tied for 57th.

The final 18 holes are slated for Tuesday.
