PUEBLO, Colo. (September 3, 2017) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Golf will host its only home tournament of the fall Monday Sept. 4- Tuesday Sept. 5. The Pack Men's Golf team will play three rounds at Walking Stick Golf Course, while CSU-Pueblo's Women's Golf Team will tee off for two rounds at the Pueblo Country Club.
On Monday, the women will tee off at 1:30 p.m. They will play their second round at 9 a.m. Tuesday. The ThunderWolves men begin play at 8:30 a.m. both days. Fans can watch both teams play for free both days.

Ewing led the Pack last season with a third place finish at the Farmers Invitational Samuel Proal Invitational. She shot a +8 (152). Kam placed fifth at last season's RMAC Championships.
This season Kam and Ewing will be joined by newcomers Rachanok Rahulpan (Pathumthani, Thailand) , and Orakorn Thirayatorn (Meang Khonkaen, Thailand) who come to the Pack from Dodge City Community College.
Freshman Kellsey Sample (Monument, Colo.) will also compete in her first tournament Monday. Along with returners Sophia Montoya (Pueblo, Colo.) and Gabby Segura (So., Kingwood, Texas), the Pack will try to fill the void left by last season's RMAC Champion Jacquelyn Porman.
CSU-Pueblo Men's Golf at a glance:
Preseason All-RMAC honoree Neil Tillman (Sr., Arvada, Colo.) leads the Pack as the team's lone senior. Tillman received First team All-RMAC honors in 2016-17.
He will look to repeat as the Champion of the Farmers Insurance Samuel Proal invitational. Tillman won the event last year with a -4 (212). He finished second at the event as a sophomore and will look to continue his success at Walking Stick.
Like Tillman, the Pack will try to defend their championship at the Farmers Insurance Samuel Proal Invitational. Returners Austin Burgess (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) Roy Carlson (Jr., Arvada, Colo.), Chase Federico (So., Pueblo, Colo.) Austin Shanks (Jr., Wichita, Kan.), Taylor Rodriguez (Jr., Pueblo, Colo.) will all look to solidify their spot in the Pack's rotation.
The Pack added three newcomers from Europe. Freshmen Sam Barthram (Weybridge, Surrey, UK) and Nathan McCann (Lurgan, Armagh, Ireland) will show their skills in their first collegiate tournament. Fraser Hughes (Jr., Newton Stewart, Scotland) comes to the Pack from New Mexico Junior College.
Course & Tournament info:
The course at Walking Stick spans 7,200 yards and par stands at 72. Walking Stick Golf Course holds a rating of 72.0 and it has a slope rating of 134 on blue grass. Designed by Arthur Hills, ASGCA, the Walking Stick golf course opened in 1991.
Pueblo Country Club's course spans 6,000 yards and par stands at 71. Players will have to contend with bunkers on every hole of this course, designed by Henry Hughes. Four styles of trees line the fairways of this course with rolling hills along the way.

As a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, Colorado State University – Pueblo competes in 22 varsity sports in NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletics.
