PUEBLO, Colo. (September 13, 2016) - Colorado State University-Pueblo women's lacrosse has announced that it will host a seven- week skills camp on Sundays beginning Sept. 18 and ending Oct. 30.
The ThunderWolves women's lacrosse youth clinic will be held at the Art & Lorraine Gonzales Lacrosse Stadium and runs 5-6 p.m. on Sundays. Campers will have the chance to learn the game of lacrosse from Head Coach Monica Potter, Assistant Coach Claire Kallio, and CSU-Pueblo women's lacrosse student-athletes.
Campers from third through eighth grade will have the chance to learn fundamentals like stick stills, cradling and rules of the game. There will also be 30 minutes of scrimmage time built into each camp session.
Campers will also have the opportunity to work through passing and catching drills. The camp costs $70 for all sessions or $20 for a drop in sessions.
