Pack's dual record improves to 6-3.

GUNNISON, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Jan. 14, 2012) - The CSU-Pueblo wrestling squad put up its best showing at the Western State Tracy Borah Duals in a decade Saturday, finishing within a hair of an undefeated showing, going 3-1 in decisive fashion.

CSU-Pueblo registered a 37-9 win over Western Wyoming, a 29-12 win over Air Force's junior varsity squad, and a 42-12 schlacking of Newman (Kan.).  Only a 20-19 blemish against Southwestern Minnesota State, the tiebreaker decided by most individual match points, kept the Pack from going perfect.

Individually, four ThunderWolves went perfect, with Jesse Hillhouse (Jr., Casper, Wyo.) leading the way, going 4-0 and scoring two pins in the process.

Trevor Grant (So., Winnemucca, Nev.) and Adam Carey (Jr., Phoenix, Ariz.) each went undefeated, going 4-0 and 3-0, respectively, each turning in a pin.

Nick Stahler (Jr., North Pole, Alaska) also went 4-0 on the day.

The ThunderWolves, now at a solid 6-3 in duals this season, will return home for a three-dual home stand, starting on Wednesday, Jan. 18 when it hosts Colorado School of Mines.
