EDMOND, Okla. (GoThunderWolves.com - Dec. 5, 2012) - CSU-Pueblo 125-pounder Jesse Hillhouse (Sr., Casper, Wyo.) was ranked at the top of his weight class in the first NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association released Wednesday. It is the first time a wrestler has been ranked number one since the program made its comeback in 2008.

Hillhouse has had a strong start to the season, winning the 125-pound title at the Cowboy Open before being named most outstanding wrestler of the tournament. He currently carries a 7-1 record as the team prepares for the new year.

Most recently, Hillhouse finished seventh at the Cliff Keen Invitational which featured the nation's top Division I talent.

Hillhouse was the only CSU-Pueblo wrestler appearing in the rankings.  As a team, the ThunderWolves were not ranked in the nation top 20.
