Hillhouse earns second RMAC Wrestler of the Week award

 RMAC Wrestling Release - Week 9

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Jan. 15, 2013) - For the second time this season, 125-pounder, Jesse Hillhouse (Sr., Casper, Wyo.), has been named the RMAC Wrestler of the Week. Hillhouse went 6-0 during the past week while recording a fall in each of the matches he wrestled in; he was also awarded two victories by forfeit.

The impressive week began with a forfeit against Adams State before traveling to Chadron State, where Hillhouse picked up his first of four falls during the week. The run continued through to the weekend at the Tracy Borah Duals, where Hillhouse went a perfect 4-0, capturing three wins on falls and another due to forfeit.

Hillhouse continues an impressive season that has seen him rise to the top of the rankings for Division II wrestlers at 125-pounds. He currently holds a 17-3 overall record that includes seven falls. In seven dual match opportunities Hillhouse holds a perfect record, with five falls.

Of his three losses this season, all of which have come against Division I competition.

Hillhouse and the rest of the team will now travel Saturday to the University of Nebraska-Kearney for the Loper Duals.
