COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State University-Pueblo senior heavyweight Niko Bogojevic (Superior, Wis.) was named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Wrestling Preseason All-Conference Thursday, as the league announced its annual preseason release. The ThunderWolves were tabbed to finish sixth in the RMAC Wrestling Preseason Coaches Poll.
California Baptist University (associate member of the RMAC for wrestling) received three first-place votes and 59 points to earn first in the poll after finishing second a season ago. Adams State University was second with three first-place votes and 50 points. Last year's champion, Western State Colorado University picked up the final three first-place votes and totaled 41 points for fourth, one spot behind Colorado Mesa University (42 points).
The Pack (31 points) finished the 2013-14 season with a 4-8 record and a 2-4 mark in conference play for fifth place.
Western State's Elliot Copeland (174 pounds) was the RMAC Preseason Wrestler of the Year.

The ThunderWolves posted their second straight top-25 finish (23rd) at the NCAA Division II National Championships in 2013-14 and one of its five starters from that squad is Bogojevic. The senior wrestled his way to a 14-11 record and a fourth-place finish at the RMAC Championships. He is also a 2013 National Qualifier.
The Pack will conduct a Red and Blue Intrasquad Scrimmage Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. at Massari Arena. The squad's first event is the Mesa State Open Nov. 8 in Grand Junction, Colo. The ThunderWolves open their home season with a dual meet versus Western Wyoming Community College Nov. 14. The event will be held at the Pueblo County High School beginning at 6 p.m.
As a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, Colorado State University-Pueblo competes in 22 varsity sports in NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletics.
