ThunderWolves open dual season at home Friday

PUEBLO, Colo. (November 13, 2014) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo wrestling team is set to open the home dual season Friday, when the ThunderWolves host Western Wyoming Community College at Pueblo County High School beginning at 6 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 15, CSU-Pueblo will travel to the Northern Colorado Open in Greeley, Colorado.

The Pack competed at the DoubleTree Open, hosted by Colorado Mesa University, Nov. 8 and was guided by freshman JaCobi Jones (Omaha, Neb.), who won a 165 with a perfect 4-0 record. Junior Allen Emmons (Cameron Park, Calif.) also found himself in the finals at 174, using two decisions and a fall (4:30), but fell by a 6-0 decision to place second.

The Mustangs compete at the National Junior College Athletic Association level and are ranked No. 17 in the Top 20 national poll. Western Wyoming is 1-0 in dual competition this season with a 21-17 victory versus Montana State University-Northern, Nov. 6.
