CHADRON, Neb. (January 23, 2015) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo wrestling team suffered a 26-10 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference dual loss at Chadron State College Friday.

The ThunderWolves dropped to 6-6 in dual matches this season, while CSC improved to 7-6 in duals.

The ThunderWolves took an early 3-0 lead when junior Alex Baca (Pueblo, Colo.) earned a 4-3 decision at 125. He owned a 3-2 lead after the second period thanks to a penalty point and a takedown. He had the choice in the third and chose bottom. An escape opened the lead to 4-2 and proved to be enough for the win.

Unfortunately for the Pack, the Eagles won the next three matches and led 13-3 before sophomore 157 Steven Kelly (Parker, Colo.) wrestled his way to a major decision, 18-7. He totaled seven takedowns, which included six in the final period.

Senior heavyweight Niko Bogojevic (Superior, Wis.) earned a sudden victory win in the final match of the dual, 5-3, but the Pack would suffer the conference loss, 26-10.

Next for the ThunderWolves are a pair of RMAC duals Jan. 28-29. The Pack battle Colorado School of Mines Wednesday at 7 p.m. before hosting Western State Colorado University Thursday in a 7 p.m. dual at Massari Arena.
