PUEBLO, Colo. (January 29, 2016) – The No. 19 Colorado State University-Pueblo wrestling team will host a conference dual Friday before heading to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships in Colorado Springs, Colorado Sunday.

The ThunderWolves (1-7, 0-2 RMAC) moved up a spot to No. 19 in the d2wrestle.com national poll Thursday and will host RMAC-rival Adams State University Friday beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, the Pack will head north and complete in the first RMAC-only Wrestling Championship since 1996 and the first ever collegiate wrestling tournament held at the U.S. Olympic Complex.

PROBABLE LINEUP

NATIONAL RANKINGS

The Pack have three wrestlers ranked nationally. Junior heavyweight Jacob Mitchell (Portland, Ore.) is No. 4, as he owns a perfect 6-0 record and five falls. Sophomore JaCobi Jones (Omaha, Neb.) is No. 4 at 157 with a 16-7 overall record (5 falls) with a 4-1 mark in dual competition. Finally, junior Tarrence Williams (Portland, Ore.) is ranked No. 6 at 174 with a 6-0 mark as a member of the Pack.

All three of those wrestlers are No. 1 regionally, while both senior 149 Tim Urenda (Pueblo, Colo.) and junior 125 AJ Salazar (Leadville, Colo.) are ranked No. 6 in Super Region Four.
