ThunderWolves sign Eaglecrest's Gonzales
The ThunderWolves women's soccer team announced the signing of
Gabriela "Gabby" Gonzales of Centennial, Colorado and Eaglecrest
High School.
Gabby currently leads the Eagles in assists with five in their first eight games in addition to three goals playing primarily as a striker. On her club team, Real Colorado Olympico U-18, Gabby also plays as a midfielder.
At CSU-Pueblo, Gabby will be majoring in Business as well as playing for the ThunderWolves soccer team. Coach Dave Morris feels that Gonzales will be an impact newcomer this fall.
"Gabby's speed and size will help make her transition to the college game a smooth one. She brings a high level of experience to our program and our players really enjoyed visiting with her this spring. As a strong student and soccer player, we expect her to be a great contributor to our campus from the moment she gets here. Particularly, I think Gabby will help us develop a good attacking rhythm and also be a strong ball-winning presence on the field."
