Jenny Davis Inks With ThunderWolves Soccer

PUEBLO, Colo -  The CSU-Pueblo women's soccer program announced the signing of Tascosa High School soccer and track standout Jenny Davis today.  Jenny was an integral part of Tascosa's defense this season and also played in the midfield for the Rebels soccer team that reached the regional quarterfinals.

At CSU-Pueblo, Jenny intends to major in Biology with the intention of preparing for medical school.  "Jenny brings a great combination of physical qualities and soccer experience to our program, her speed and tenacity will really help her make the jump to college soccer and we look forward to her being an integral part of our program," said Coach Dave Morris.  "Also, Jenny fits in well with our team as a student and we expect her to be a ‘triple threat' addition to our campus, a great student, a great soccer team member, and a contributor to our campus community.  It's really exciting to add a woman like Jenny Davis to our team."

The ThunderWolves are coming off a record setting season of their own, reaching the RMAC championship match, finishing in second place in the RMAC during the regular season, setting school records for wins (14) and goals (50) in a season as well as earning the NSCAA's College Team Academic Award.  Individually, forward Robin Hayes was named COSIDA Midwest Player of the Year, while forward/midfielder Rikki Warmack earned RMAC Soccer Scholar Athlete of the Year Honors as well.
