2007: Saw action in 18 of the Pack's 22 games, starting five ... As one of the ThunderWolves' key defensive subs, helped the Pack to a school record 15 wins. 

High School: At Dakota Ridge High School, Janel balanced soccer with cheerleading, where she was part of an all-state cheerleading squad ... Graduated from DRHS with a 3.1 GPA, boasting perfect attendance.

Personal: Lives with her big sister, Jeanna, former member of the CSU-Pueblo soccer and softball teams ... Daughter of Walter and Lorraine Barnes ... In addition to Jeanna, has four other siblings: Justin, Jared, Jamie and Jodie ... Currently majoring in exercise and health promotion (K-12) ... Enjoy long walks on the beach, spending time with family and friends,  underwater basketweaving, and clubbing.
