Martin heads Pack's 2008 all-RMAC selections

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo senior forward Marli Martin (Sr., West Jordan, Utah) heads the list of four ThunderWolves selected to the all-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference team, the RMAC announced Wednesday.

Martin, the Pack's leading scorer with nine goals and 23 points overall, was the ThunderWolves' lone first-team selection to the all-RMAC team.  The converted midfielder is also second on the team in assists with five, 11th in the RMAC.  Her nine goals are sixth best in the RMAC.

Martin is joined by teammates Rikki Warmack (Jr., Pueblo, Colo.) and Sarah Deziel (So., Eau Claire, Wisc.), both midfielders who are third and fifth on the team, respectively, in points this season.  This season's recognition marks the second consecutive season Warmack has been named second-team all-conference.

The Pack's final all-RMAC selection is Beccah Drennan (Sr., Fountain, Colo.), one of the top goal-scorers in CSU-Pueblo history who returned to the team in 2008 after not competing in 2007.  She was a first-team all-RMAC selection in 2005.
