Pack closes out recruiting class with Nee

The CSU-Pueblo women's soccer program has added Honolulu, Hawaii product Tamra Nee (Kaiser HS/Honolulu, Hawaii) to its 2010 roster, CSU-Pueblo head women's soccer coach, Janet Cassidy, announced.

Nee is a standout player on the Honolulu Bulls Soccer Club, one of the most successful club soccer teams in the United States, where she has played for the past 12 years.  At Kaiser High School in Honolulu, she was the Oahu Interscholastic Association MVP during her senior season  A two-time OIA all-star, Nee also earned first-team honors during senior season. She had led Kaiser in scoring twice, and was also on the Kaiser swim team, specializing in sprint events.

With the ThunderWolves, Nee projects to either the defensive backfield or to forward. 

"We are very excited to have Tamra join the women's soccer program," Cassidy said.  "With her size, athletic abilities and finesse, she will be an impact player."

Nee is one of the final signings for the ThunderWolves' 2010 roster, which includes goalkeeper Savannah Thompson (Upland HS/Upland, Calif.) and forward Chelsea Brigham (Dana Hills HS/Capistrano Beach, Calif.).  In 2010, CSU-Pueblo will also welcome back 21 returners from the 2009 squad.
