LAKEWOOD, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Oct. 22, 2010) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo ThunderWolves were defeated 1-0 Friday by Colorado Christian University. Their third consecutive loss in a recent bad stretch for the Pack

It only took three minutes for freshmen Sally Larsen to score her first collegiate goal to put the Cougars up 1-0 over the ThunderWolves. A goal that would hold 87 minutes and become the eventual game-winner for Colorado Christian.

CSU-Pueblo's best chance to tie the game came 33 seconds after Larsen's goal when forward Katie Thiebaut (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.) hit a shot that rang off of the post.

The game was evenly matched on the stat sheet with the Pack getting a slight advantage in shots on goal, 12-11.

The loss drops the Pack to 4-10-1 overall and 2-8-1 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play.

CSU-Pueblo will play it's last home game of the season 2:30 p.m. on Sunday when they host Mesa State. The game will feature nine seniors who will be honored for their playing time with the Pack as they play their last home game at Rawlings Sports Complex.
