PUEBLO, Colo. (October 15, 2015) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team will conclude its home portion of the schedule this weekend when they play host to Colorado School of Mines and Colorado Christian, all part of Parent's Weekend at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Soccer Stadium.
The ThunderWolves return to action following a big 1-0 home victory over New Mexico Highlands Sunday.
Danelle Dondelinger (So., Mid., Louisville, Colo.) scored her first goal of the season in guiding the Pack to victory.
Entering the weekend, CSU-Pueblo sits on the outside of the current playoffs picture with just three points separating fifth thru tenth place in the RMAC standings.
Freshman goalkeeper Ann-Marie O'Connell (Victorville, Calif.) recorded her first collegiate victory for the Pack, shutting out the Cowgirls potent offensive attack.
Following the weekend, the ThunderWolves play the final four games on the road in making a push for playoffs.
Against Colorado Mines, the ThunderWolves are 6-11-2 including a 1-1 decision Oct. 2 at CSM.
Versus the Cougars, CSU-Pueblo is 24-8-5 which includes a 0-0 scoreless affair Oct. 4 in Lakewood.
The weekend will include pregame ceremonies honoring parents and family members as well as the departing seniors who will play their final home games for CSU-Pueblo.
