INDIANAPOLIS (October 21, 2015) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team earned the No. 10 slot in the latest NCAA South Central Regionals Rankings released Wednesday.
CSU-Pueblo enters the ranks for the first time since 2008 after notching two 1-nil victories over the weekend to add to its resume as they make a late season push for an RMAC post season berth.
The ThunderWolves (7-5-2, 3-3-1 RMAC) are joined in the top ten along with RMAC foes Fort Lewis (2), UCCS (6th), and Colorado Mines (8th).
Angelo State sits in the top spot entering the week with a 12-1-1 record.
The NCAA South Central Region is comprised of teams from Heartland, Lone Star, and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conferences.
The ThunderWolves also came in at No. 10 in the NSCAA Regional Rankings this week.
CSU-Pueblo concludes the regular season on the road for the final two weeks, next traveling west over the Continental Divide with matches Friday at Colorado Mesa and Sunday versus Westminster College.
