PUEBLO, Colo. (September 8, 2016) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team will entertain Emporia State University in a nonconference match Friday at 7 p.m. at the Art & Lorraine Gonzales Soccer Stadium.
The Pack return to action after opening the season with a 1-1 record. In the opener CSU-Pueblo fell 2-0 against Texas Woman's University and earned their first victory of the season 2-0 Sunday against Midwestern State.
Laikyn Koss (Sr., Upland, Calif.) netted both goals for the Pack, scoring the games' first goal in the fifth minute and added goal number two in the 17th minute. Megan Garcia (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.) was credited with the assist.

CSU-Pueblo concludes its homestand with a rare midweek contest Tuesday (Sept. 13) against Eastern New Mexico. The Pack will begin Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play on the road Sept. 16 at Fort Lewis and conclude the weekend Sept. 18 at Adams State.
