PUEBLO, Colo. (October 6, 2016) – Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer, fresh off a 2-0 weekend which included an upset win over No. 3 Colorado Mines, returns to the pitch this week with crucial Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference games set Friday against Regis University and Sunday versus MSU Denver both matches at the Art & Lorraine Gonzales Soccer Stadium.

Friday the Pack will host a RESPECT Game. The game is to help raise awareness about being more respectful of all human beings regardless of race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, political views, etc.

Pack Head coach Paul Regrutto and his staff welcomes everyone, "To come out and enjoy a soccer game, and to hopefully spend some time reflecting on how they can find common ground with the people around them."

Any fan wearing a yellow colored t-shirt will be admitted in to Friday's game free of charge.

CSU-Pueblo (6-3, 3-2 RMAC) enters the week in the No. 8 slot in the latest NSCAA South Central Region Poll. The Pack joins Colorado Mines (1st) and Fort Lewis (9th) representing the RMAC.

The ThunderWolves' Jessica Westhoff (Jr., Centennial, Colo.) earned RMAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after guiding the Pack in two wins last week.

Friday at Colorado Christian, Kacie Licata (Sr., Upland, Calif.) scored her second goal of the season less than three minutes in to the overtime period to cap the win for the Pack. At home Sunday, Westhoff netted her first goal of the year in the sixth minute against third-ranked Mines. She later took a free kick from beyond midfield firing a missile inside the box to Sandra Grimaldo (Sr., Mammoth Lakes, Calif.) who headed in the ball high above the reach of the Mines goalkeeper.
