COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (October 10, 2016) - Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer players Alison Darr (Sr., Placerville, Calif.) and Sandra Grimaldo (Sr., Mammoth Lakes, Calif.) each was named to Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic First Team announced Monday by league officials.

The duo is part of thirteen Pack players selected.

Darr holds a 3.86 GPA and is a General Exercise Science major. Grimaldo maintains a 3.61 GPA and is majoring in Sociology/Criminology.

Westminster College's Madison Roemer was named Academic Player of the Year as she holds a 3.85 GPA majoring in Finance.

The thirteen CSU-Pueblo selections is tied with Westminster College for second most in the conference behind Regis' fifteen players honored.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters (RMAC Manual 3.4.2).
