INDIANAPOLIS (October 19, 2016) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team enters the week at number four in the first installment of the NCAA Regional Poll released Wednesday.
The ThunderWolves (9-3, 6-2 RMAC) are currently on a six-game win streak including scoring a 2-1 win Sunday over New Mexico Highlands at home to improve to 7-1 at the Art & Lorraine Gonzales Soccer Stadium.
Three teams from the RMAC registered in the top ten this week. RMAC-foe Colorado School of Mines sits atop the region; followed by Texas A&M Commerce, St. Edward's and the Pack. MSU Denver comes in at number five.
CSU-Pueblo will seek to tie its longest win streak in program history Friday when Colorado Mesa comes to Gonzales Stadium for a 7 p.m. RMAC clash. Prior to the match a pregame Paren'ts Day celebration will take place at the pitch.
As a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, Colorado State University – Pueblo competes in 22 varsity sports in NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletics.
