PUEBLO, Colo. (October 20, 2016) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team will play its final two regular season matches at the Art & Lorraine Gonzales Soccer Stadium this week and put their six-game win streak on the line against Colorado Mesa on Parent's Night Friday at 7 p.m. The Pack wraps up the home schedule Sunday against Westminster for a noon kickoff on Senior Day at the pitch.
The Pack (9-3, 6-2 RMAC) earned the fourth slot in the first of four weekly NCAA Regional Rankings released Wednesday.
CSU-Pueblo leaped to second in the RMAC Standings after winning its lone match of the week 2-1 Sunday against New Mexico Highlands in front of a strong home crowd.
CSU-Pueblo is tied in conference points (18) with Westminster and are two points ahead of CMU entering the weekend.
The ThunderWolves have posted a 7-1 record at Gonzales Stadium including six straight, and are 4-0 in conference matches.
Ahead of kickoff Friday Pack head coach Paul Regrutto, his coaching staff, and players will honor the parents and family supporters of the ThunderWolves in attendance in a pregame ceremony.
Sunday for Senior Day, nine members of the Pack will play their final regular season matches at Gonzales Stadium.
Alison Darr (Placerville, Calif.), Shae McNutt (League City, Tex.), Kacie Licata (Upland, Calif.), Megan Garcia (Pueblo, Colo.), Mariel Hundley (Las Vegas, Nev.), Shanelle Cox (Firestone, Colo.), Brittney McClain (Fountain, Colo.), Grimaldo and Koss will be honored in a pregame celebration.
After the homestand the Pack will play the final weekend of the regular season on the road Oct. 28 at UCCS and Oct. 30 at Western State Colorado University.
