KANSAS CITY, Mo. (October 25, 2016) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team made its first appearance in the national ranks, entering at No. 24 in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America Poll released Tuesday.
The ThunderWolves (11-3, 8-2 RMAC) currently are riding an eight-game win streak and went 2-0 over the weekend with wins over Colorado Mesa and Westminster to close out the home portion of the schedule. With the sweep CSU-Pueblo broke a program record for consecutive wins set in 2007.
RMAC-foe Colorado School of Mines enters the week at No. 10.
The Pack and Orediggers remain tied atop the RMAC Standings heading into the final weekend of the regular season.
CSU-Pueblo travels to UCCS Friday at 7:30 p.m. and will conclude the weekend at Western State Colorado University, kickoff is set for 1 p.m at Gateway Field in Gunnison, Colo.
