PUEBLO, Colo. (November 1, 2016) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team will host its first postseason match in school history Wednesday after clinching the two-seed of the RMAC Tournament and host seven-seed Fort Lewis at 7 p.m. in a quarterfinal match at the Art & Lorraine Gonzales Soccer Stadium.
The ThunderWolves (12-3-1) finished the regular season on the road, scoring a 3-1 win Friday at UCCS. Sunday in the regular season finale, CSU-Pueblo played Western State Colorado University to a 0-0 tie in Gunnison, Colo.
Against the Mountain Lions, CSU-Pueblo received three second half goals from Jessica Westhoff (Jr., Centennial, Colo.), Mariel Hundley (Sr., Las Vegas, Nev.), and Sandra Grimaldo (Sr., Mammoth Lakes, Calif.) in the victory.
