KANSAS CITY, Mo. (November 1, 2016) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team remained in the national ranks this week coming in at No. 23 in the latest NSCAA Poll released Tuesday.
CSU-Pueblo (12-3-1) finished second in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference standings and will host a RMAC Tournament Quarterfinal match Wednesday against seven-seed Fort Lewis College.
The Pack concluded the regular season going 1-0-1, scoring a 3-1 victory Friday at UCCS. The ThunderWolves used a strong second half attack, scoring three goals in the period to get past the Mountain Lions.
Sunday at Western State Colorado University, the ThunderWolves battled the home team to a 0-0 tie.
RMAC-foe Colorado School of Mines, the number one seed of the tourney, enters the week at No. 6 in the poll.
CSU-Pueblo will kickoff its postseason Wednesday at 7 p.m. against the Skyhawks at the Art & Lorraine Gonzales Soccer Stadium.
