PUEBLO, Colo. (November 3, 2016) - The No. 23-ranked Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team continues its trek in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournamen and will face Regis University Friday at 6:30 p.m. in a semifinal round match at Stermole Stadium on the campus of tournament-host Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo.
In the other semifinal top seed Colorado Mines host 5-seed MSU Denver at 4 p.m.
The Pack advanced in the tournament after defeating Fort Lewis 4-1 Wednesday in a quarterfinal matchup played at the Art & Lorraine Gonzales Soccer Stadium.
Senior forward Laikyn Koss (Riverside, Calif.) scored two goals, one in each half, and scores from Kacie Licata (Sr., Upland, Calif.) and Hannah Andresen (Fr., Arvada, Colo.) paved the way in the Pack victory.
Regis enters the match winners of a 2-1 penalty kick shootout after playing Colorado Christian to a 0-0 scoreless affair through regulation and two overtime periods.
In one match this season CSU-Pueblo defeated the Rangers 2-1 at home on Oct. 7.
