Pack wrap homestand Friday versus Christian; play Sunday at Mines

PUEBLO, Colo. (September 28, 2017) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team will play its final match of a five-game homestand Friday against Colorado Christian University at 4:30 p.m. at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium. The Pack will embark on a six-game road trip beginning Sunday at No. 14 Colorado Mines.

The ThunderWolves take on the Cougars of CCU ahead of the men's team facing rival-UCCS at 7 p.m. on youth night at the pitch.

Any student between K-8th grade will be admitted into the games free of charge.

CSU-Pueblo returns to action after defeating Black Hills State 8-0 Sunday in the only match of the week and improve to 3-0 in conference play and 4-3 overall.

Junior Mackenzie Bean (Bothell, Wash.) led the charge scoring three goals and an assist, paving the way for five other Pack players to score their first goals of the season.

For her efforts Bean was awarded RMAC Offensive Player of the Week for a second time in four weeks.

In Sight for the Pack

The Pack hit the road for six games. After Sunday's game at Mines, CSU-Pueblo remains on the road for matches at Regis (Oct. 6) and MSU Denver (Oct. 8).
