United Soccer Coaches Regional Poll - Week 4

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (September 26, 2018) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team is currently fifth in the region according to the latest United Soccer Coaches Regional Poll released Tuesday.

The Pack went 1-1 in two home games last week against then-No. 7 Colorado School of Mines and Colorado Christian. Friday against CSM, the ThunderWolves became the first team to score a goal against the Orediggers defense this season.

Karley Whiteman (Sr., Alta Loma, Calif.) scored her team-leading fourth goal of the season in the 65' off a free kick, hitting from outside the box into the net.

Sunday against the Cougars of CCU, four players of the Pack scored goals in the 4-3 win. Whiteman tallied her second score of the weekend in the 54' and give the ThunderWolves a 2-1 lead at that time in the match.

RMAC-foe Colorado School of Mines sits atop the region followed by MSU Denver, West Texas A&M, and UCCS.

The ThunderWolves begin a three-game road trip with one game this week at New Mexico Highlands (Sept. 30) and will wrap the trip at Black Hills State and at Regis.
