Boy's Elite Camp

Who:  boys eligible to participate in the 2008 high school soccer season

When:  August 5-7, 5:30 pm - 8 pm (check in 5 pm on August 5th)

Cost:  $75 (late registration fee of $15 after 7/30)

Goals:  Provide high school players with exposure to top level soccer tactics, high level techniques, and training at an elite speed of play.  Campers will further their understanding of soccer at a higher level and learn new tools to increase their soccer potential. This is a great way to get step ahead for pre-season!

Curriculum Outline:

  1. Advanced individual and group defending
  2. Functional Techniques:
    • Finishing
    • Clearing & Crossing
    • Playing "back to goal"
    • Receiving out of the air
  3. Adding vision & awareness to your play
  4. Principles of high level attacking soccer
    • effective possession
    • proper risk vs. reward decision making
    • creating the "final pass"

There will be at least 90 minutes of goalie work.
Players are required to bring shinguards, ball, and water.
