Pack Swimming & Diving sets sights on win vs. Colorado College

PUEBLO, Colo. (December 8, 2017) Colorado State University-Pueblo Swimming & Diving will travel to Colorado Springs to face Colorado College Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Schlessman Natatorium in the Pack's final meet before the holiday break.

The ThunderWolves are coming off of a strong performance at the CMU Invite. CSU-Pueblo set three school records and nine top 5 times in school history.

Arianna Rohde (Jr., Anchorage, Alaska) tied the Pack's record in the 100 back with a time of 59.19. She also swam three of the top five fastest times in program history. Rohde also placed in the top 10 twice.

In the 200 IM, Rohde posted the third fastest time in Pack history (2:16.16). Her 100 fly time of 59.06 was the fifth fastest in school history.

Phoebe Pontious (So., Caledonia, Mich.) sprinted her way the Pack's 50 free record Thursday with a prelim swim of 24.65. She took 11th in the finals with a time of 24.80, the second-best time in school history.

Kortney Spencer (So., Pueblo, Colo.) set a school record in the three meter diving with a score 310.65. She placed sixth in the event and scored 24 points for the Pack in this event.

The Pack brings a 1-4 dual record into the weekend. The Tigers stand 4-2 in duals this year. Colorado College has beaten the Pack in each of the last three seasons.
