Midwestern State too much for Pack
#32 Midwestern State 9, CSU-Pueblo 0
PHOENIX, Ariz. - The ThunderWolves had a tough time with 32nd-ranked Midwestern State Thursday, falling 9-0.
The Pack had trouble challenging Midwestern State at times, giving them their best run in number-two doubles, when Andrea Ortiz (Fr., Pueblo, Colo.) and Tiffany Talmadge (Sr., Aurora, Colo.) challenged MSU's Tonya Blair and Faye D'Hamecourt to an 8-6 decision.
Morgan Forsyth (Fr., Denver, Colo.) was also reputable at number-two singles, nearly winning the first set with Kaja Banas, falling 7-6 before Banas took the match with a 6-1 showing.
The ThunderWolves will continue on its four-match swing in Phoenix with a very tough opponent, 7th-ranked Abilene Christian, on Friday.
