DENVER, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo senior Julie Wainwright (Sr., Aurora, Colo.), the Pack's No. 1 singles player, was selected first-team all-conference, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced Friday.

Wainwright was the lone ThunderWolf named to the squad, becoming the first ThunderWolf to be named first-team all-conference since 2006.  That season, four ThunderWolves were first-teamers, including Wainwright, who was the Pack's No. 4 singles player and RMAC Freshman of the Year.

In years' past, the RMAC selected one all-conference recipient per position (No. 1 singles, No. 2 singles, etc.).  This season, the all-conference teams were changed to include the conference's top players, regardless of position.

The selections were determined prior to the RMAC Women's Tennis Tournament, taking place Friday and Saturday in Denver, Colo. (hosted by Colorado Christian University).  CSU-Pueblo was given the sixth-seed in the seven-team tournament, tasked with taking on Nebraska-Kearney at 8 a.m. Friday.
