Forsyth falls in consolation final

In the only CSU-Pueblo women’s tennis action at the North Central ITA regional tournament on Sunday, Morgan Forsyth (Fr., Aurora, Colo.) advanced to the consolation singles final where she lost to April Hirad of Metro State.

Forsyth won her first match Sunday morning, defeating a Winona State University player 8-2 before losing to Hirad by a score of 8-4.

The women’s team will now regroup in Pueblo for two weeks before returning to action in a match tentatively scheduled for Oct. 11 in Denver.
