Pack's Forsyth impressive, falls in ITA finals

KEARNEY, Neb. - CSU-Pueblo sophomore Morgan Forsyth (So., Denver, Colo.), in her first collegiate action since early last season, finished as a runner-up in the ITA Women's Tennis Regionals, held in Kearney, Neb. this weekend.

Forsyth started the 64-member singles tournament by winning five straight and earning a berth in the semifinals before losing in two sets to Upper Iowa's Anastasia Dabiza.  She was the top-finishing player from the RMAC in the ITA's.

Forsyth also joined with doubles partner Andrea Ortiz (So., Pueblo, Colo.) to make some noise in the doubles bracket.  The duo earned wins in their first two doubles matches, making it to the quarterfinals before suffering their first loss.
