Forsyth ranked 2nd in region by ITA

CSU-Pueblo sophomore Morgan Forsyth (So., Parker, Colo.) has been ranked second in the NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Central Region rankings, released this weekend by the ITA.

Forsyth, who finished as the runner-up at the 2009 ITA Central Regionals in September, has begun the season with a 7-1 record in singles play, losing only to Upper Iowa's Anastasia Dabiza, who is ranked first in the region.

Forsyth and doubles partner, Andrea Ortiz (So., Pueblo, Colo.) also were ranked in the top 10 in the region in doubles, ranked eighth as a tandem.  The duo is 2-5 so far this fall.

As a team, CSU-Pueblo is ranked seventh in the region, according to the ITA.
