Pack scores 7-2 win over Colorado Christian

CSU-Pueblo claimed its second straight win Friday with a 7-2 victory over Colorado Christian at the Pueblo City Park Tennis Complex.
The ThunderWolves claimed two of three doubles matches and five of six singles matches to record their second win over the Cougars this season.
Leading the charge for the Pack was Nicole Pilot (Fr., Pueblo West, Colo.), who recorded an epic win at three-singles, winning the tiebreak 17-15 in a dramatic match with Chelsea Snow. Pilot took the match by a score of 6-1, 0-6 (17).
The Pack's top two players, Morgan Forsyth (So., Parker, Colo.) and Andrea Ortiz (So., Pueblo, Colo.) each claimed wins at both doubles and singles. They took the one-doubles match 8-5 before Forsyth won at one-singles 6-1, 6-2 and Ortiz took the tiebreak in a 6-3, 4-6 (10-2) win at two-singles.
Also recording singles and doubles wins were Valerie Boughton (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.), winning at three-doubles and five-singles.
CSU-Pueblo, earning its fourth win of the season with the victory, will now focus its sights on the RMAC Tournament, where it will face Western New Mexico in Albuquerque next Friday.
