AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo indoor track athletes held their own against largely Division I competition at the Air Force Academy's Don Barrett All Comers" indoor track meet Friday night.

The ThunderWolves recorded four top ten finishes, all coming in the Pack's bread and butter - sprint and hurdle events.

In the 60-meter dash, Blair Gilkes (Fr., Aurora, Colo.) finished fourth, ahead of the top sprinters from Division I schools Air Force and Colorado, and finishing behind two sprinters from Tulane, which dominated most events they entered.  Gilkes only finished behind one RMAC foe, Colorado Mines' Kiera Benson.  Gilkes' time of 7.83 seconds was behind the top mark of Tulane's Kasey Rodgers (7.59) and Benson's 7.71.

Gilkes was joined by teammate DeVen Hamlet (Fr., Denver, Colo.), who finished 8th. Hamlet ran the 60 in 7.94 seconds.

Gilkes also turned in a top-ten finish in the 200-meter dash with an 8th place 25.94 time, finishing only behind four from Tulane, Benson, and several unattached sprinters.

Sierra Jones (Fr., Denver, Colo.) was the top RMAC finisher in the 60-meter hurdles, turning in a sixth place finish with a time of 9.43.  She only trailed two entrants from Northern Colorado, one from Air Force, and was 0.75 seconds off the pace of first place finisher, Janay DeLoach, an unattached entrant.

The ThunderWolves will depart for Boulder next weekend for another Division I-rich event at the University of Colorado at the CU-Potts Invitational.
