Pack freshman becomes second ThunderWolf in as many weeks to net RMAC honor.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Jan. 26, 2011) - CSU-Pueblo freshman sprinter Shilay Willis (Fr., Aurora, Colo.) has been named the RMAC Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, the RMAC announced Wednesday.
She becomes the second ThunderWolf in as many weeks to be recognized as the RMAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, joining teammate Blair Gilkes (Jr., Aurora, Colo.).
Willis set a school record and personal best in the 400 meters (57.83), finishing 14th out of 31 runners at the UNM Cherry & Silver Invite. Both of her times in the 200-meter and 400-meter from this past weekend are the fastest in the league this season. She also ran a personal best in the 200-meter dash (25.36). Willis finished 34th out of 43 runners in the 60-meter dash (8.06) and ran on the 4x400 relay team (4:03.80).
Willis and the ThunderWolves will return to the site of last weekend's UNM Cherry & Silver Invite - Albuquerque, N.M. - for the New Mexico Classic.
