Pack distance runner Lewis earns Academic All-RMAC honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - May 18, 2011) - CSU-Pueblo distance runner Hayley Lewis (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) was recognized as a member of the Academic All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Team, garnering a second-team selection, the RMAC announced Wednesday.

Lewis anchored the Pack's distance events, leading the team with a 10th place finish at the RMAC Championships in the 800-meter run.  She also finished 11th at the RMAC Championships in the 1500-meter run.

She balances her on-the-track accomplishments with a stellar 3.99 GPA as a mass communications major.

Lewis, a sophomore from Air Academy High School in Colorado Springs, was a 2010-11 RMAC Indoor Track & Field Academic Honor Roll selection.
