Jewell named to all-RMAC team
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference
has announced that CSU-Pueblo junior middle blocker, Caitlyn
Jewell, has been named to the all-RMAC second team.
Senior outside hitter Lindsey Wilson was also recognized, earning
honorable mention honors.
Jewell averaged 2.68 kills per game in 2007, second best on the
team, and was second on the team with a .200 attack percentage. She
also led the team in blocks with 93. Jewell also equalled the
CSU-Pueblo record for kills in a five-game match on Nov. 3 against
Western State when she logged 26 kills.
Wilson paced the ThunderWolves in key offensive and defensive
categories, including kills (2.89 per game) and digs (3.72 per
game). She was also second on the team in service aces with 21, and
started every game for the Pack in the 2007 season.
