Pack can't down D-III Colorado College
Colorado College 3, CSU-Pueblo 1
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Despite winning the opening set, CSU-Pueblo could not dispose of Colorado College Tuesday, falling three sets to one in non-conference action.
The Pack jumped out to a 10-2 lead in the opening set, committing just four attack errors in claiming a 25-20 win. But the ThunderWolves would commit 25 attack errors in the next three sets, losing the 25-23, 25-14 and 25-20 in the final sets.
CSU-Pueblo was led by Bernadette Pitre (So., Clifton, Colo.), who had a team-high 11 kills, and Megan Koop (Fr., Littleton, Colo.), who had eight kills to just two errors in the match.
CSU-Pueblo will close out its 2009 campaign Friday and Saturday when it hosts Western New Mexico and New Mexico Highlands at Massari Arena.
