Get reduced admission with pink shirt or purchase of 2010 'Block Out' tee, 'ThunderTowels' for the first 250 fans, and more!
PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Oct. 11, 2010) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo athletics department announces the fourth annual 'Block Out Breast Cancer' event, sponsored by State Farm Insurance on Oct. 14 to help increase awareness of breast cancer while raising funds for cancer patients and their families.
The event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 14 when the ThunderWolves host the UC-Colorado Springs Mountain Lions at 7 p.m. at Massari Arena. The first 250 fans will receive a "ThunderTowel," compliments of State Farm Insurance.
All participants are asked to wear a pink shirt to receive a discounted admission ticket to the game. Half of all proceeds collected that night will be donated to the Orchard of Hope Foundation of Pueblo. Admission prices with a pink shirt will be $4.00 for adults, $2.00 for seniors, military or faculty/staff, and $1.00 for kids ages 7 – 12 years. Kids six and under will be admitted free of charge.
Fans can also purchase an official "Block Out Breast Cancer" t-shirt the night of the event or by visiting the CSU-Pueblo Athletic Office. Official t-shirts go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 12 and include two complimentary general admission game tickets for the event on Thursday. Quantities and sizes are limited. All proceeds will be donated to the Orchard of Hope Foundation.
