Pack off to longest win streak since 2006.
PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Nov. 5, 2010) - CSU-Pueblo claimed its third straight victory Friday, keeping a downtrodden New Mexico Highlands squad winless in conference play this season, claiming a four-set win over the Cowgirls 25-17, 25-21, 25-22 and 25-17.
Aside from a down third set, where CSU-Pueblo showed lapses defensively, the Pack was in complete control as three ThunderWolves logged ten or more kills. Junior Alea Wildman (Jr., Denver, Colo.) recorded a match-high 14 kills while Tamia Herholz (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.) added 12 and middle blocker Ashley Wilkinson (Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) logged 13 kills to just one error for an attack percentage of .571.
The winning streak of three is the ThunderWolves' longest since 2006, and can be run to four when the Pack closes its season Saturday night at Massari Arena when Western New Mexico comes to town.
