PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Oct. 21, 2011) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo Department of Athletics, along with its partners from the St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center and State Farm Insurance, are combining efforts during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month to raise funds locally for the St. Mary Corwin Breast Center of Excellence campaign through Saturday's "Pink Out" football game vs. Colorado Mesa at the Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl and Tuesday's "5th Annual Block Out Breast Cancer" volleyball game vs. Western State at Massari Arena.

Saturday's "Pink Out" will feature admission deals for all fans wearing pink - any fans wearing pink to the game will receive $2 off a reserved admission to the game or $1 off "Thunder Hill" admission.  Fans can also purchase one of just 500 limited edition "Pink Out" T-shirts for just $10, with all proceeds going to the St. Mary-Corwin Breast Center of Excellence campaign, an initiative that helps in early screening for breast cancer as well as mammograms for uninsured women.  To learn more, visit http://www.stmarycorwin.org/breast-center-of-excellence or the St. Mary-Corwin table at the game for more information.

Tuesday night's "5th Annual Block Out Breast Cancer" volleyball game, sponsored by State Farm Insurance, is designed to raise awareness for breast cancer while also raising funds for the St. Mary-Corwin Breast Center of Excellence campaign.

The first 100 fans will receive a ThunderFan, compliments of State Farm Insurance. All participants are also asked to wear a pink shirt to receive a discounted admission ticket to the game.  Half of all proceeds collected that night will be donated to St. Mary Corwin’s Breast Center of Excellence campaign.  Admission prices with a pink shirt will be $4 for adults, $2 for seniors, military or faculty/staff, and $1 for kids ages 7 – 12 years.  Kids six and under will be admitted free of charge.

Fans can also purchase an official “Block Out Breast Cancer” T-shirt the night of the event or by visiting the CSU-Pueblo Athletic Office.  Official T-shirts go on sale Monday, Oct. 24 and include two complimentary general admission game tickets for the event on Tuesday.  All proceeds will be donated to St. Mary Corwin’s Breast Center of Excellence campaign.
