COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Sept. 3, 2012) - CSU-Pueblo senior middle blocker Angela McAdams (Sr., Blinn, Texas) has been named the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week, the RMAC announced Monday.

McAdams was the ThunderWolves' most dominant offensive and defensive player last weekend in leading the Pack to a 4-0 record at the St. Mary's/St. Edward's Rattler/Hilltopper Classic. She turned in a career-high nine blocks in the ThunderWolves' five-set win over 2011 NCAA Division II national qualifier, Abilene Christian.

Behind McAdams' performance, CSU-Pueblo's 4-0 start is its best since 1997, which also happens to be the last season in which it qualified for the NCAA Division II National Tournament.

McAdams and the ThunderWolves will host teams from across the country this weekend at the ThunderWolves Classic at CSU-Pueblo, taking place Friday and Saturday at CSU-Pueblo's Massari Arena.
