Pack stunned in conference opener

DURANGO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Sept. 14, 2012) - After an 8-1 start to the season, CSU-Pueblo got reminded that nothing counts unless you can win in conference, falling in three sets to Fort Lewis Friday.

The Pack had trouble gaining any traction against the Skyhawks, losing 25-22, 25-17 and 25-18.  The ThunderWolves led for a grand total of just six points throughout the match, giving up the first point of each set.

Reigning RMAC Offensive Player of the Week Angela McAdams (Sr., Blinn, Texas) finally appeared human for the first time in 2012, hitting just .111 and logging only six kills.  It was indicative of the night had by all the ThunderWolves, as the normally sure-handed squad hit just .025 in the entire match.

The ThunderWolves have a long bus ride to get over the loss and get up for Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction, Colo. Saturday night.
