ThunderWolves sweep through Highlands

LAS VEGAS, N.M. (GoThunderWolves.com - Sept. 25, 2012) - CSU-Pueblo claimed its second straight conference win Tuesday when it beat New Mexico Highlands in three.

Tuesday, the Pack was remarkably accurate on the attack, hitting .352 as it teed off on the Cowgirl defense all night long.  The match was dominated by Brianna Bryant (Jr., Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.), who had eight kills and no errors, hitting .727 and recording the highest single match attack percentage in school history.  She also added five blocks for the Pack.

Bryant wasn't alone in dominating the stat sheet as Skylar Conner (Fr., Edmond, Okla.) recorded 10 kills to no errors to hit .455 while Alex Winkler (Fr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) recorded seven kills with no errors, hitting .467 in her first collegiate game seeing considerable court time.  

With the three-set win, CSU-Pueblo is now 11-4 and 2-3 in RMAC play heading into Saturday night's match at Western New Mexico.
